Remote Desktop Web Connection

 

Important Message: You may need to click the gold bar at the top of the browser window to allow the install
This system is restricted to authorized users for legitimate School purposes.
Type the name of the remote computer you want to use, select the screen size for your connection, and then click Connect. When the connection page opens, you can add it to your Favorites for easy connection to the same computer.		Server:

Trouble Shooting

• You may have to turn off the pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer. (TOOLS, POP-UP BLOCKER, TURN OFF POP-UP BLOCKER) 



• If you have an antivirus program, it may block the connection as well (as a last resort you can try uninstalling it,  getting into terminal services and then reinstalling it).



• You could also try adding our site as a “trusted site.”  (TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, under SECURITY TAB  click on TRUSTED SITE {green check mark} and then click the SITES button below, uncheck the {Require server verification (https:)......}, and type *.southeastmn.edu in the box containing the address of your current browser page and then click ADD.



• You may also need to add our site under Privacy tab (TOOLS,  INTERNET OPTIONS,  PRIVACY tab) click the SITES button and type southeastmn.edu and click ALLOW.
